Performance and Battery Upgrades
The Nexon EV 45 is equipped with a 45kWh battery pack, which is 15% more energy-dense than the older 40.5kWh unit.
Despite the increase in capacity, it takes up the same space but weighs slightly more. This upgrade results in a range of 489km, which is 24km more than the previous version.
In real-world conditions, Tata estimates a C75 cycle range of around 350-370km. During testing, the car achieved an average city efficiency of 7.9km/kWh
and a highway efficiency of 7.67km/kWh, resulting in an overall range of 350km on a full charge. The older 40.5kWh version had a range of 273km under similar conditions.
The Nexon EV 45 also comes with 5hp more power, a new panoramic sunroof, and a faster charging time.
Charging from 10% to 80% now takes just 48 minutes, compared to 56 minutes in the previous model.
The Nexon EV is available in multiple variants, including Creative, Fearless, Empowered, Empowered+, and Red Dark.
