The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) launched its new housing scheme on November 7.
Under the DDA Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025, flat bookings began on Friday at 12 pm.
This scheme is designed especially for poor and middle-class families.
A total of 1,537 flats are available under the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and LIG (Lower Income Group) categories.
After discounts, the prices start at ₹11.9 lakh, making it an affordable option for those looking to own a home in Delhi.
Where Are the Flats Located?
Flats under this scheme are available in several parts of Delhi. These include:
Narela
Rohini Sector 34–35
Ramgarh Colony near Jahangirpuri Metro Station
Shivaji Marg, Moti Nagar
The prices range from ₹11.9 lakh to ₹32.7 lakh depending on the location and type of flat.

How to Register on the DDA Portal
If you are booking a DDA flat for the first time, you must register on the official DDA portal.
The registration requires a non-refundable or adjustable fee of ₹2,500.
Follow these steps to register:
Visit the DDA official website and click on ‘Login’.
Select ‘New Registration’ to open the form.
Enter your name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and other details.
Provide your PAN and Aadhaar number, then click ‘Request for OTP’.
Enter the OTP received on your mobile.
Pay the ₹2,500 registration fee.
Your PAN number will be your user ID. Keep your mobile number and email ID correct, as they cannot be changed later.
A password will be sent to you, which you can change after logging in.
How to Book a Flat
To book a flat under this scheme, you must first make an initial deposit:
₹50,000 for EWS flats
₹1,00,000 for LIG flats
After depositing the amount, follow these steps:
Log in to the DDA website using your user ID.
Select the location where you want to buy a flat.
Check the layout and design of the flat.
Book the flat of your choice.
Complete Payment Within 15 Minutes
Once you select a flat, you will get only 15 minutes to complete the booking payment.
If you fail to pay in time, the flat may be allotted to someone else.
Keep your bank details and OTP ready before starting the booking.
Make sure your account has enough balance, as payments are accepted only online.
Within 24 hours of booking, you will receive a demand-cum-allotment letter.
