Honda has announced the release of the new generation Amaze compact sedan, set to launch on December 4.
A recent teaser shows glimpses of the car’s interior, hinting at several upgraded features that will be included in this new model.
Updated Design Inspired by Honda City and Honda Elevate
The third-generation Honda Amaze is designed with elements reminiscent of the Honda City. The front end features a wide chrome strip that connects the headlights,
and the bumper has a new design with distinct cuts. In terms of front styling, the new Amaze resembles the Honda Elevate, giving it a more premium look.
At the rear, the car sports a design similar to the Honda City, complete with wide tail lamps and an updated bumper. This new model has been developed at Honda’s R&D Asia Pacific Center in Thailand.
Enhanced Interior with Modern Features
Inside, the new Honda Amaze is expected to offer features similar to the Honda City, including a digital instrument cluster and an updated dashboard pattern.
The teaser images reveal that the touchscreen has been repositioned for better usability, and the steering wheel has a fresh design.
Additionally, the interior storage space appears to have improved, making it more convenient for drivers and passengers.
Performance and Competition
The new Amaze is expected to be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine with CVT transmission, while a manual gearbox will be standard for the base model.
This engine is designed to deliver better fuel efficiency than previous models.
With these updates, the new Honda Amaze is positioned to compete strongly against the upcoming Maruti Dzire in the Indian market.
