Superbike fans in India have been taken by surprise as Honda has quietly removed the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP and Rebel 500 from its official India website.
These models were launched recently, so their sudden disappearance has raised many questions.
Why Were the Bikes Removed?
According to reports, Honda had imported only a limited number of units for both models, and all of them have now been sold out.
Several BigWing dealerships have also confirmed that these bikes are completely out of stock.
This situation highlights Honda’s repeated “launch-and-disappear” pattern. In the past too, models like the CB300R
and CBR650F were introduced in India but later vanished from the market with little explanation.
This raises doubts about whether the Fireblade SP and Rebel 500 were also meant to be limited-run releases.
Will the Fireblade SP and Rebel 500 Return in 2026?
Honda has not released any official statement regarding the removal.
However, market rumours suggest that the company may relaunch both models in 2026, possibly with updated features or revised pricing.
If this happens, the Fireblade SP and Rebel 500 could return strongly, as both motorcycles received a very positive response from Indian buyers.
