Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a new and special Combat Edition of its popular sports-commuter motorcycle, the Xtreme 160R 4V.
This edition is created for riders who want a unique, sporty, and tech-rich bike in the 160cc category.
The company has not announced the price yet, but it is expected to be slightly higher than the standard model because of the many segment-first features it offers.
Sportier and More Premium Design
The Combat Edition gets a fresh and modern look. It comes with a new Combat Grey color theme and an updated headlamp design inspired by the Xtreme 250R.
These changes make the front profile sharper, more aggressive, and sportier.
Overall, this edition looks more premium and attractive than the standard version, especially appealing to young riders.
Segment-Leading Features
The biggest highlight of the Combat Edition is its advanced features. Hero has added several technologies that are new to the 160cc segment.
The most notable is cruise control, available for the first time in this category, making long rides more comfortable.
It also offers three riding modes—Rain, Road, and Sport—which adjust performance based on road conditions and riding style.
The ride-by-wire system ensures smoother throttle response, while the full-color LCD display enhances the bike’s modern and techy feel.
Additionally, features like 0–60 km/h timing and a quarter-mile recorder allow sporty riders to track their performance.
Same Proven Engine Performance
The Combat Edition uses the same engine as the standard Xtreme 160R 4V.
It is powered by a 163cc, 4-valve, air-oil-cooled engine that produces 16.66 hp and 14.6 Nm of torque.
This engine is known for its sharp, refined, and dependable performance—whether in city traffic or on highways.
With the combination of new features and the proven engine, the Combat Edition becomes one of the most advanced and well-balanced bikes in its segment.
