Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2025 versions of its popular motorcycle, the Splendor Plus, in India.
The new lineup includes five variants, all of which are OBD-2B compliant. This means they meet the latest emission norms.
The company has also introduced the 2025 Super Splendor XTEC, available in both drum brake and disc brake versions, which also meet the upcoming OBD-2B standards.
Features and Pricing of the 2025 Splendor Plus
The base variant, called Splendor Plus XTEC Drum, is priced at around Rs 79,000, which is about Rs 2,000 more than the older version.
The top variant, the Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0, is priced at Rs 85,500 (ex-showroom). This version offers LED lights and a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster.
All variants of the updated Splendor Plus are powered by a 97cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 8bhp of power and 8Nm of torque. It is paired with a four-speed gearbox.
While the performance figures remain unchanged, the fuel efficiency might vary slightly. With this refreshed lineup, Hero aims to attract more buyers.
2025 Super Splendor XTEC: Specs and Features
The 2025 Super Splendor XTEC comes in two variants:
Drum Brake version: Priced at Rs 88,128
Disc Brake version: Priced at Rs 92,028
These prices are also about Rs 2,000 higher than the previous models. Both versions now comply with the latest OBD-2B emission regulations.
This motorcycle is powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 10.72bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.
There are no other mechanical changes. The Super Splendor XTEC is available in four color options:
Matte Nexus Blue
Matte Gray
Black
Candy Blazing Red
Key features include LED lighting, a digital cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity. In terms of hardware, it has telescopic front forks, dual rear shock absorbers,
and braking options that include front disc and rear drum brakes on the top model, while the base model uses drum brakes at both ends.
