Delhi: Heavy rain in Delhi on Tuesday morning (July 29) caused waterlogging in several areas.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued a warning for continued heavy rainfall in the city.
According to IMD, very light to moderate rain is expected in the national capital until August 3. Rain is also likely in other states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, because of the heavy rain and strong winds in Delhi, major airlines including IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Air India have released travel advisories.
Passengers were warned about possible flight delays or cancellations on Tuesday morning.
IndiGo Issues Advisory on X
In a post on X, IndiGo stated that due to the possibility of heavy rain in Delhi, traffic to and from the airport may be slower and flights may get delayed.
The airline added, “We cannot change the weather, but we are doing our best to make your journey smoother.

SpiceJet and Air India Also Share Updates on X
SpiceJet also posted on X, saying that all flights, including connecting flights, could be affected due to bad weather in both Delhi and Dharamshala. Passengers were advised to regularly check their flight status.
Similarly, Air India warned that strong winds and rain may impact flights arriving at or departing from Delhi on Tuesday morning.
The airline advised passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport and to arrive earlier than their scheduled departure time.
