HDFC Bank is set to implement significant changes to its loyalty program for specific credit cards, effective October 1, 2024.
Customers should be aware of the new limitations on redeeming reward points for Apple products and Tanishq vouchers.
Changes to Redemption Rules
Apple Products Redemption Limit
Starting October 1, 2024, redemption of reward points for Apple products will be limited to one product per calendar quarter via the HDFC Bank SmartBuy platform.
Calendar quarters are defined as:
April to June
July to September
October to December
January to March
This limitation applies exclusively to Infinia and Infinia Metal Cards.
Tanishq Vouchers Redemption Cap
Redemption for Tanishq vouchers will also have a new limit, capped at 50,000 reward points per calendar quarter, starting October 1, 2024.
This rule is similarly applicable to Infinia and Infinia Metal Cards.
Membership Fees for HDFC Bank Infinia Credit Card
The joining and renewal membership fee for the HDFC Bank Infinia Credit Card is set at Rs 12,500 plus applicable taxes.
Benefits include:
Welcome and Renewal Benefit: 12,500 reward points upon fee realization and card activation.
Fee Waiver: Spend Rs 10 lakhs or more in the preceding 12 months to have the renewal membership fee waived for the next year.

Membership for the HDFC Bank Infinia Credit Card is available by invitation only.
