  • Google Pay

  • Paytm

  • WhatsApp Pay

  • Other third-party UPI apps

Both financial (like payments and transfers) and non-financial transactions (like checking balances) will be affected.

This applies to savings and current account holders as well as RuPay credit card users.

Impact on Merchants and Businesses

Traders and shopkeepers who use HDFC Bank’s UPI services for payments will also experience service disruptions during this time.

The bank has advised all users—including merchants—to use the PayZapp wallet for transactions while UPI services are unavailable.

Takeaway: Keep Some Cash With You

If you are an HDFC Bank customer, make sure to keep cash or an alternative payment option ready during this maintenance window. Plan your transactions accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
