HDFC Bank has issued a downtime alert for its customers. Some key services, such as net banking and mobile banking, will be temporarily unavailable tonight and tomorrow.
The bank sent this alert via email, explaining that the downtime is for essential system maintenance to improve banking services.
Duration of Service Downtime
The main maintenance will last 12 hours, from 12 midnight to 12 noon today. During this period, net banking and mobile banking services will not be available.
HDFC Bank emphasized that this late-night maintenance is important for improving services and asked customers to be patient.

Even though net banking and mobile banking will be down, customers can use alternative methods for transactions:

Additionally, HDFC Bank services will face a 3-hour downtime tomorrow, February 22, 2026, due to system maintenance, from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Services affected include:
Account-related services
Deposits
Money transfers (UPI, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS, intra-bank transfers)
Online payments
Other account-related tasks
During this time, PayZapp Wallet can still be used for payments and money transfers.
Previous Maintenance Updates
Earlier in February 2026, HDFC Bank performed system maintenance twice:
14 February: Maintenance from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. (3 hours), affecting net banking and app services.
7 February: Maintenance from 12 midnight to 1:30 a.m. (90 minutes), affecting UPI services.
