HDFC Bank Issues Notice on Temporary Customer Care Downtime

HDFC Bank, one of India’s largest private sector banks, has issued an important notice for its customers.

The bank’s customer care services will remain unavailable for a few hours due to scheduled system maintenance.

This step is being taken to provide safer and better banking services in the future.

Service Downtime Details

According to HDFC Bank, customer care services will be unavailable from 11 PM on 22 August 2025 to 6 AM on 23 August 2025 (a total of 7 hours).

Services That Will Not Work

During this period, the following services will remain unavailable:

Phone Banking IVR (Interactive Voice Response)

Email and Social Media Support

SMS Banking

???? However, customers will still be able to block their account or card through a special toll-free number.

The following services will work as usual during the downtime:

Phone Banking Agent Service

Net Banking

Mobile Banking App

PayZapp

MyCards App

This means you can continue making transactions, checking balances, and making payments without any problem.

Enter debit card details

Set a new IPIN

Login to NetBanking with the new IPIN

ATM Registration Steps

Visit the nearest HDFC ATM

Insert debit card and enter ATM PIN

Select Other Options

Click on NetBanking Registration

The NetBanking PIN will be couriered to your registered address
