New Delhi:
HDFC Bank customers will face temporary disruptions in some services for a few hours between August 22 and August 23, 2025.
The bank has scheduled maintenance from 11:00 PM IST on August 22, 2025, to 6:00 AM IST on August 23, 2025. This 7-hour maintenance window will affect several customer support services.
HDFC Customer Support Services to be Affected
During the maintenance period, the following services will be unavailable:
- Phone Banking IVR
- Email Support
- Social Media Channels
- WhatsApp ChatBanking
- SMS Banking
However, the toll-free number to report lost or fraudulent bank accounts and cards will still be active.
HDFC Bank UPI Services Downtime Alert
HDFC Bank has also planned essential maintenance for its UPI services on August 22, 2025, from 12:00 AM to 1:30 AM IST (a total of 90 minutes).
Services That Will Be Affected:
UPI transactions involving:
– HDFC Bank Current or Savings Accounts
– RuPay Credit CardsHDFC Bank Mobile Banking app and third-party apps (TPAPs) using HDFC Bank UPI services
UPI services for merchants linked to HDFC Bank accounts will also be affected during this time.
