The record date for receiving bonus shares is November 26, 2025.
Shareholders whose names appear as beneficial owners in the Company’s Register of Members or in depository records on this date will be eligible for the bonus shares.
The company was listed in August 2018, and this is its first bonus issue since listing. Its IPO was worth ₹2,800.33 crore and was oversubscribed 82.99 times.
HDFC AMC shares have a face value of ₹5, and the stock closed at ₹5,395.05 on the BSE on November 21.
Company Performance and Shareholding
HDFC AMC has a market cap of ₹1.15 lakh crore. As of the end of September 2025, promoters held a 52.42% stake in the company. The stock has gained 28% in one year and 12% in six months.
The company reported a 24% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching ₹718.43 crore in the September 2025 quarter.
Net profit was ₹576.61 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income rose 6% to ₹1123.59 crore, compared to ₹1058.2 crore in the September 2024 quarter.
Brokerage Ratings
Motilal Oswal has given HDFC AMC a ‘buy’ rating with a target price of ₹6,800.
Prabhudas Lilladher has also given a ‘buy’ rating, with a target price of ₹6,175 per share.
