Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced significant price reductions on several of its popular products, effective from September 22, 2025.
This move comes in response to recent changes in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates, which have been lowered from 18% to 5% on various personal care and food items.
Price Cuts on Key HUL Products
The following products will see a decrease in their Maximum Retail Price (MRP):
Dove Shampoo (340 ml): Reduced from ₹490 to ₹435, a ₹55 decrease.
Horlicks (200 gm): Price cut from ₹130 to ₹110, saving ₹20.
Kissan Jam (200 gm): Now priced at ₹80, down from ₹90, a ₹10 reduction.
Lifebuoy Soap (4×75 gm pack): Decreased from ₹68 to ₹60, a ₹8 saving.
Lux Soap (100 gm): Price reduced from ₹35 to ₹30, saving ₹5.
Bru Coffee (100 gm): Now available at ₹160, down from ₹180, a ₹20 reduction.
These revised prices will be reflected on new stock arriving in stores soon.
HUL aims to pass on the benefits of the GST adjustments directly to consumers, making everyday essentials more affordable.
