Speculation is rife that the event will unveil a slew of updates, with a focus on the Google Pixel 8 Series and Watch 2.

The Pixel 8 Series Unveiled Before the Curtain Rises
The Pixel 8 Series, consisting of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, has generated significant buzz even before its official launch.
Both these cutting-edge devices are slated to become available starting October 5.
Peek into the Possible Displays
According to leaks reported by WinFuture, the base model of the Google Pixel 8 Series may sport a 6.17-inch FHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro could feature a larger 6.7-inch OLED display panel, also with a 120Hz refresh rate and a crisper 3120×1440 pixel resolution.
Power Under the Hood
Under the hood, the Pixel 8 is rumored to come with 8GB of RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of storage, powered by the Google Tensor G3 SoC.
In contrast, the Pixel 8 Pro could offer three storage variants: 12GB RAM with 128GB, 12GB RAM with 256GB, and a top-tier 12GB RAM with 512GB configuration.
Camera Capabilities Unveiled
Both smartphones are expected to feature a formidable 50MP primary rear camera.
Additionally, the Pixel 8 may include a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots, while the Pixel 8 Pro might boast a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 64MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Both models are anticipated to have a 10.5-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Pricing Details Emerge
In terms of pricing, the Pixel 8 Series is poised to start at EUR 799, approximately Rs 70,200, while the Pixel 8 Pro may come in at an initial price of EUR 1099, which translates to around Rs 96,500.
Introducing the Pixel Watch 2
In addition to the smartphones, Google may also introduce the Pixel Watch 2, featuring a 1.2-inch OLED display, Snapdragon W5 Gen1 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and a range of smart features including an optical heart rate monitor and oxygen saturation tracker.
This smartwatch is set to run on Wear OS 4 and is equipped with a 306mAh battery. The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to kick off at EUR 399, or approximately Rs 35,000.
