Already available in the US, it aims to make photo editing faster, easier, and more creative, even for users with no technical expertise.

‘Help Me Edit’ Tool: Edit Photos Using Simple Commands

The new ‘Help Me Edit’ feature lets users edit photos by simply typing instructions.

You don’t need to adjust brightness, crop, or fix details manually.

“Open my eyes”

The AI will automatically apply the changes, making the editing process quick and intuitive.

Nano Banana AI: Turn Ideas into Creative Images

The Nano Banana AI model allows users to add creative effects just by describing them.

You can give commands like:

“Turn this image into a Renaissance portrait”

“Make this image look like mosaic tiles”

This feature brings generative AI art into everyday photo editing, letting your creativity flow without needing advanced skills.

Ready-Made AI Templates and Global Features

Google is also adding a ‘Create with AI’ carousel in the Photos app’s Create tab.

This provides one-tap templates to generate professional-style images using your existing photos.

Templates include:

Headshots

Photoshoots

Fashion

Festival themes

These templates will gradually roll out over the coming weeks.

Additionally, the ‘Ask Photo’ feature, which lets users search their photo library using natural language, is now available globally in over 100 countries and 17 languages.

In India, this feature comes under a new ‘Ask’ tab, replacing the older search function in the Photos app.

In Short

With Nano Banana AI, ‘Help Me Edit’, and ready-made templates, Google Photos is making photo editing more creative, simple, and intuitive.

Users can now enhance, transform, and explore their photos in ways that were previously time-consuming or complex.
