Search engine giant Google has introduced a new feature called Google Search Live in India.
This AI-powered conversational search is available in the AI Mode of the Google app.
With it, users can ask questions and get real-time answers using voice and camera, in both English and Hindi.
Google has also expanded AI Mode by adding support for seven more Indian languages.
What is Google Search Live?
Google Search Live is described as the company’s next-generation search experience, powered by Gemini AI and technology from Project Astra.
With this feature, you can:
Point your camera at an object,
Speak your question,
And receive instant answers with visual context.
It combines text, voice, and images to give detailed responses.
For example: If you hold an item in front of the camera and ask, “What’s the best way to make iced matcha with these?”, Google Search Live will explain the method and even provide further steps.
How to Use Google Search Live?
To try the feature, follow these steps:
Open the Google app on your phone.
Tap the ‘Live’ button below the search bar or open it through Google Lens.
Ask questions by speaking, typing, or using the camera to focus on an object — like a recipe, a tool, or details about a place.
