Now, Google is ready to launch the next-generation version, called Nano Banana 2, for the Gemini app.
The new version promises realistic AI-generated images with advanced features like better angles and text controls, making images look even more lifelike.
Smarter and More Accurate Image Creation
A preview of Nano Banana 2 has surfaced on social media, showing that the tool will give creators more control over camera angles, viewpoints, colors, and lighting.
A long-requested feature—editing text within images without changing the rest of the image—will also be available.
Another unique feature is its multi-step workflow. Instead of generating the image all at once, the tool will:

Correct them automatically
This process makes AI-generated images appear more natural and realistic, almost like a human designer made them.
Rollout Expected Soon
The new model, called GEMPIX 2, has been spotted in several experimental Google projects, including Whisk Labs.
