Gold prices have dropped sharply today. The price of 24-carat gold has become 805 rupees cheaper on Friday.
As per the latest data from the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is now priced at ₹97,358. On Thursday evening, the rate was ₹98,163 for 10 grams.
Silver Price Today
The current price of silver is ₹1,04,610 per kg. On Thursday evening, it was ₹1,04,675 per kg.
As the wedding season is going on, this fall in gold prices has brought some relief to the general public.
Price of 23-Carat Gold
As per the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association, the price of 23-carat gold today is ₹96,968 per 10 grams.
Yesterday at 5 pm, the price was ₹97,770 for 10 grams. This means gold is ₹802 cheaper per 10 grams today compared to yesterday.
Price of 22-Carat Gold
Today, the average spot price of 22-carat gold is ₹89,180 for 10 grams. Around 12 noon, the price of 18-carat gold stood at ₹73,019 per 10 grams,
and 14-carat gold was priced at ₹56,964 per 10 grams. Please note, these rates do not include the 3% GST and making charges.
Gold Prices May Vary by Location
There can be a difference of ₹1,000 to ₹2,000 between the prices released by the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association and the actual rates in your city.
Also, remember that the association releases gold rates twice daily—once at 12 noon and again at 5 pm.
