Silver Prices Also Surge

On October 16, the retail price of silver jumped to ₹1,90,100 per kilogram amid a global supply shortage. The tight supply and strong demand have pushed silver ETF premiums higher.

However, a day earlier, on October 15, silver prices had dropped by ₹3,000, settling at ₹1,82,000 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
