Gmail is also the most widely used email service worldwide. Many people in India use Gmail, but awareness about cyber security and privacy remains quite low.

That’s why it’s important to stay alert. If someone hacks your Gmail, they can access almost all your personal information, which can be a serious risk.

So, keeping your Gmail account secure is very important. You should know whether someone else is using your Gmail without your permission.

Thankfully, Google provides a feature that helps users find out if their account is being accessed by someone else.

How to Check Who Is Using Your Gmail Account

You can easily find out who else might be accessing your Gmail. First, open your Gmail account. Click on your profile picture (shown at the top right corner).

Then click on “Google Account.” A number of options will appear. From these, click on the “Security” option.

Scroll down a little, and you’ll see a section called “Your Devices.” Click on it, then choose “Manage All Devices.”

This will show you a list of devices where your Gmail account is currently signed in.

If you see any unfamiliar device or something you didn’t log into yourself, remove it immediately. This helps keep your Gmail account safe.

Use a Strong Password for Gmail

When creating a password, always use both uppercase and lowercase letters. Also include numbers and special characters.

This makes it much harder for hackers to guess your password. Here’s an example to understand the difference:

Weak Password: password123

Strong Password: 4#3@d$fG%hJ*kL

A strong password is key to protecting your account from hackers.
