Good news for anyone looking to get an Ayushman card! Now, you don’t need to visit any office or stand in long queues.
You can check your eligibility and apply for your card directly from your phone using the Ayushman App.
The National Health Authority (NHA) shared this update on X, highlighting how simple the process has become.
With the card, you can avail free treatment up to ₹5 lakh under the PMJAY scheme.
How to Check Eligibility
To check if you’re eligible for an Ayushman card, follow these steps:
Download the App: Get the Ayushman App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store for free.
Login: Tap on the login button and select Beneficiary.
Enter your phone number and captcha, then proceed with the OTP verification.
Fill the Form: Select Scheme as PMJAY, choose your state, Sub Scheme as PMJAY, and search using your Aadhaar number.
Enter your Family ID (ration card or PMJAY number) and other required details.
Check Eligibility: Enter the captcha and submit.
If eligible, the app will take you to the next step. Otherwise, it will show an error.
How to Get Your Ayushman Card
Once your eligibility is confirmed:
The app will display your details along with family members linked to your ID.
Next to any member who already has an Ayushman card, you’ll see a “Download Card” option in green.
Tap it to download.
If you see “Do e-KYC”, you’ll need to complete your electronic KYC before downloading the card.
Completing e-KYC on the Ayushman App
To complete your e-KYC:
Tap e-KYC next to your name.
Choose Aadhaar OTP in the Authentication menu.
An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked phone number. Approve it and enter the OTP.
Enter a separate OTP received on your mobile for verification.
On the e-KYC page:
Review your Aadhaar ID, Member ID, and Family ID.
Complete the e-KYC using Aadhaar OTP and give consent by entering your Aadhaar number.
Enter the mobile OTP and Aadhaar OTP again.
Upload your photo for verification with Aadhaar data.
Fill in any remaining details and submit the form.
Once the process is complete, you will be able to download your Ayushman card directly from the app.
