Benefits of the Card

Ankur Mittal says this card offers strong cashback benefits across multiple platforms with a low annual fee.

A key highlight is that cashback is directly credited to your account within 2 business days after the billing cycle ends.

What Are the Limitations?

According to Mittal, the main downside is the lack of airport lounge access. SBI Card clarified that this card is built for online shoppers, with rewards centered on Flipkart, Myntra, and Cleartrip—not for luxury or travel benefits.

Sumanta Mandal, founder of Technofino, also pointed out that the quarterly cashback limit and high annual spend requirement for fee waiver can be tough for first-time or low-spending users.

How Is It Different from Other Cards?

Sumanta Mandal noted that the Flipkart SBI Credit Card is quite similar to the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, showing Flipkart’s growing partnerships with various banks.

Ankur Mittal added that while both cards are similar, the Flipkart SBI Credit Card has better welcome benefits and different cashback partners under the 4% category.

Should You Get This Card?

Ankur Mittal believes the Flipkart SBI Credit Card is ideal for regular shoppers on Flipkart, Myntra, and Cleartrip. The attractive cashback and low annual fees make it a good option.

However, Sumanta Mandal feels that the card doesn’t offer anything very unique.

For heavy Flipkart users, the SBI Cashback Credit Card or SBI PhonePe Select Black Credit Card might be better, as both also offer 5% cashback on Flipkart—though they come with higher fees.
