Full List of Oppo Phones Getting ColorOS 16 in March

Smartphone companies regularly release new software updates to give users better features and improved security. Now, Oppo has announced the final rollout schedule for its ColorOS 16 update, which is based on Android 16.

The company will start rolling out this major update to several of its mid-range smartphones in March 2026.

Devices Getting the Update in March 2026

According to Oppo, the following smartphones will receive the ColorOS 16 (Android 16) update this month:

Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G

Oppo F31 Pro 5G

Oppo Reno12 F

Oppo Reno12 FS

Oppo Reno11 FS

Oppo K12x 5G

The company has also shared tentative rollout dates for March:

March 5: Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G, Oppo F31 Pro 5G

March 6: Oppo K13x 5G

March 10: Oppo Reno12 F, Oppo Reno12 FS, Oppo Reno11 FS, Oppo K12x 5G

March 17: Oppo F31 5G

Oppo said that some devices, such as the Oppo F31 Pro series and Oppo K13x 5G, have already started receiving the update. At first, the rollout may be limited to certain regions, but it will gradually expand to more countries and markets.

How to Check for the Update

If you own any of the smartphones listed above, you can manually check for the update.

Simply go to:
Settings > System & Updates > Software Update

If the update is available for your device, you can download and install it from there.

Important Things to Remember Before Updating

Since this is a major software upgrade, the update file size may be several GB. Before installing it, keep these points in mind:

Make sure your phone has enough storage space.

The battery level should be at least 50% or more.

It is better to download the update using a WiFi network.

Work on Android 17 Has Also Started

While the ColorOS 16 rollout is almost complete, Oppo has already started working on its next major update. Reports say the company’s upcoming interface will be based on Android 17.

Tech giant Google has already released two public beta versions of Android 17, and more beta updates are expected soon. The stable version of Android 17 is likely to launch in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026.
