Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale is set to launch soon, though the exact date is yet to be announced.
Leaks about exciting offers are already surfacing, and it is expected to rival Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale happening this month.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, Apple’s iPad (2021) will be available at a steep discount, potentially for less than ₹19,000 during the sale.
This price is likely to include bank offers. The iPad was originally launched at a starting price of ₹30,000.
iPad Features and Specifications
The 2021 iPad comes with a 10.2-inch LCD display and is powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 11.
It also features a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 122-degree field of view and support for Center Stage.
This iPad is compatible with Apple Pencil, Apple’s Smart Keyboard, and third-party keyboards.
It initially launched with iPadOS 15 and is set to receive the upcoming iPadOS 18 update. Charging is done via a 20 W Apple power adapter, ensuring fast and efficient power-ups.
Foxconn’s Plans to Expand iPad Manufacturing in India
In related news, Apple’s contract manufacturer Foxconn is exploring opportunities to assemble iPads in India.
Currently, Foxconn and other Apple contractors have been assembling iPhones in the country for several years, including the iPhone 15 series.
Foxconn is now considering expanding its operations to include iPad assembly at its facility near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
With the required skills already in place from smartphone production, manufacturing iPads locally is expected to be seamless.
This expansion aims to double Foxconn’s production, which will include both iPhones and iPads.
