Who Can Apply
To be eligible for Estonia’s Digital Nomad Visa, you must:
Be a remote worker, employee, or run a business registered outside Estonia.
Be a freelancer who mainly works with international clients.
Earn a gross income of at least €4,500 (around ₹4,57,371) per month for the last six months before applying.
Documents You Need
To apply, you must submit the following:
A valid passport
Filled and signed visa application form
Proof of employment or business (like contracts or company registration)
Bank statements for the last six months showing your income
A letter explaining why you want to move to Estonia and how you meet the visa requirements
Health insurance covering at least €30,000 (around ₹30,49,740) for your stay
A police clearance certificate showing a clean criminal record

Who Is Eligible to Apply
The visa is for non-EU/EEA nationals who want to live in Estonia while working remotely for up to 12 months.
If you’re already legally staying in Estonia on another visa, you can also apply for the Digital Nomad Visa.
Your spouse and children can also apply under family visa rules, but you may need to provide additional documents.
How to Apply
Step 1: Go to the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website and complete the Digital Nomad Visa application form online.
Step 2: Submit the form in person at your nearest Estonian embassy or consulate. You’ll need to pay a visa fee of €120 (about ₹12,199).
Step 3: Provide all the required documents. You may be asked to attend a short interview to confirm your purpose of stay and eligibility.
Step 4: Wait for your visa to be processed. This usually takes 15 to 30 days, though it can take longer in some cases.
