For those who regularly use the Delhi Metro, there’s an important update regarding the Yellow Line metro service on Saturday, May 17.
Due to maintenance work, the metro services on the Kashmiri Gate to Central Secretariat section of the Yellow Line will be affected in the morning.
Metro Frequency: Every 35 Minutes
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that metro trains on this section will run every 35 minutes until 6:25 am.
However, there will be no change in the timing of the first metro from the terminal stations (Millennium City Centre Gurugram and Samaypur Badli).
Affected Stations:
Metro services between Kashmiri Gate and Central Secretariat will be impacted.
First trains from Samaypur Badli and Vishwavidyalaya will continue as per the regular schedule.
Other stations on the Yellow Line will have normal services.
First Metro Timing Adjustment:
The first metro from Central Secretariat to Samaypur Badli will now depart at 5:55 am, 10 minutes later than the usual time of 5:45 am.
Travel Alternatives:
If you’re traveling from Kashmiri Gate, Central Secretariat, or Mandi House, DMRC suggests opting for the Violet Line as an alternative.
Passengers are advised to plan their journey in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
This adjustment is only for the morning of May 17, so be sure to check the updates before traveling.
