Delhi Airport launches Fast Track Immigration Programme (see details)

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has introduced the government’s ambitious “Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme” (FTI-TTP) at Terminal 3, making it the first airport in India to implement this initiative.

The programme aims to enhance the travel experience for Indian passport holders and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.

Objectives of FTI-TTP

The FTI-TTP is designed to expedite immigration and emigration processes, reducing congestion and enhancing efficiency at airports.

This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Civil Aviation Ministry, and Bureau of Immigration.

How to Register for FTI-TTP

Apply Online: Visit the government website www.ftittp.mha.gov.in and complete the application form with required details.

Verification Process: The Immigration Bureau will verify the applicant’s details.

Biometric Enrollment: Upon verification, approved passengers will be notified via email or SMS to proceed with biometric data enrollment,

including fingerprint and facial recognition.

Benefits of FTI-TTP

CEO of DIAL, Vidhe Kumar Jaipuriar, expressed pride in partnering with the government to launch FTI-TTP,

emphasizing the programme’s role in providing a seamless travel experience.

Approved passengers, identified as low-risk travellers, will enjoy expedited immigration and security clearance during both arrival and departure.

This programme marks a significant step towards modernizing airport operations and improving passenger convenience at Delhi Airport.
