Owning a home in Delhi is a dream for many, especially for government employees and pensioners. Rising property prices often make this dream difficult to achieve.
To address this, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has introduced a special housing scheme called Karmyogi Awas Yojana.
Under this scheme, DDA is offering a 25 percent discount on ready-to-move-in flats exclusively for government employees and retired pensioners.
The allotment process will be fully online and will follow a first-come, first-served system.
Who Can Apply and How Many Flats Are Available?
A total of 1,168 flats are being offered under this scheme.
These homes are reserved only for eligible government employees and pensioners.
The flat mix includes:
320 one-bedroom flats
576 two-bedroom flats
272 three-bedroom flats
Employees and retirees from central and state governments, public sector units, public sector banks, universities, and autonomous institutions can apply.
All the flats are located in Narela A1 to A4 (Pocket 9).
The project faces a large urban forest, offering better air quality and a cleaner environment.
All homes are new, freehold properties, and sample flats will be open for public viewing.
Flat Prices and Key Amenities
The flats are priced competitively, making them more affordable compared to market rates in Delhi.
1BHK: Around ₹34.03 lakh
2BHK: Around ₹79.81 lakh
3BHK: Around ₹1.14 crore
Residents will get access to modern facilities such as spacious balconies, adequate parking, large common areas, and a community center or clubhouse.
Security services are expected to be handled by trained ex-servicemen.
Connectivity and Location Advantages
Connectivity is one of the major highlights of this housing project.
Narela is well-connected to UER-II and GT Karnal Road, making daily travel easier.
The upcoming metro station in the area is expected to further improve accessibility and boost property values in the future.
The airport can be reached in around 40 minutes, adding to the convenience.
