DDA launches New Housing Scheme with Strict Rules

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched its Premium Housing Scheme 2025.

Under this scheme, flats will be sold at affordable prices in different parts of Delhi. However, this time the rules are stricter than before.

The process of registration and earnest money deposit (EMD) started on 26 August 2025.

Last date to apply: 26 September 2025

Last date for online registration & EMD submission: 24 September 2025

Demo practice: 3, 4 and 5 October 2025

Eligibility to Apply

Applicant must be an Indian citizen and above 18 years of age.

PAN card is mandatory.

For SC/ST applicants, a family member must be made a co-applicant.

Martyrs’ widows, disabled persons, and reserved category applicants must provide the required documents.

The co-applicant’s name should be mentioned in the form from the beginning.

EMD Amount

The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) depends on the type of flat/garage:

LIG flat: ₹4 lakh

MIG flat: ₹10 lakh

HIG flat: ₹15 lakh

Car garage: ₹4 lakh

Scooter garage: ₹1 lakh

Payment can be made through NEFT, RTGS, or online on the DDA e-auction portal.

₹1.98 crore in Vasant Kunj

₹2.19–2.34 crore in Dwarka Sector 19B

₹2.34–2.45 crore in Jasola

MIG Flats:

₹1.09 crore in Ashok Nagar

₹1.38–1.52 crore in Dwarka

₹60 lakh–1.49 crore in Jahangirpuri

₹60–65 lakh in Nandnagri

₹61–62 lakh in Pitampura

₹1.24 crore in Malviya Nagar

SFS Flats: ₹88 lakh–₹1.66 crore in Vasant Kunj, Shalimar Bagh, Rohini and Alaknanda

LIG Flats: ₹29–47 lakh in Dwarka, Rohini and Ashok Nagar

EHS Flats: 66 flats in Nasirpur, Dwarka starting at ₹26 lakh

Garages:

Car garage in Pitampura: starts from ₹30 lakh

Scooter garage (Mall Road and Ashok Vihar): starts from ₹2–5 lakh

Strict Rules and Transparency

This time, DDA has tightened the rules for the housing scheme. Applicants must carefully read all terms and conditions before applying to avoid problems later.
