The District Logistics Officer said that consumers are currently facing problems while booking domestic LPG gas cylinders because of server-related technical issues.
To help people during this time, consumers have been given other options to book their gas cylinders easily.
Consumers can now book and pay for LPG gas cylinders using UPI apps. They only need to download apps like PhonePe, Paytm, Amazon Pay, Google Pay,
and HP Pay from the Play Store and complete the booking and payment process through these apps.
Gas Cylinder Booking Through Phone Numbers
The District Logistics Officer also said that consumers can book their gas cylinders by calling the telephone numbers provided by different oil companies.

New Cylinder Booking Rule
The officer said that consumers can book a new domestic LPG cylinder only after 25 days from the delivery date of the previous cylinder.
Cylinder Delivery Only Through OTP
The District Logistics Officer further informed that all gas companies have been instructed to ensure that domestic LPG cylinders are delivered only after 100% OTP verification.
This rule has been introduced to make the distribution system transparent and safe for consumers.
