Over the past week, PM Kisan e-KYC has become one of the most searched terms online, according to Google Trends.
This shows that a large number of farmers are checking their e-KYC status to ensure they receive the next installment of benefits under the scheme.
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
Completing e-KYC is mandatory to continue receiving these payments.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi provides financial support directly to farmers’ bank accounts.
Farmers must complete e-KYC and now also create a Farmer ID to ensure transparency and prevent misuse.
How to Complete PM Kisan e-KYC
Follow these steps to complete your e-KYC:
Visit the official PM Kisan website.
Log in and click the e-KYC option.
Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code, then click “Search.”
Enter your registered mobile number and select “Get OTP.”
Enter the OTP received on your mobile.
Once verified, your e-KYC will be complete, and you will get a confirmation message.
Creating a Farmer ID is also mandatory for beneficiaries.
How to Create a Farmer ID
Go to the AgriStack portal and register.
Complete e-KYC using Aadhaar.
Fill in the required information and upload supporting documents.
After verification, a unique Farmer ID will be issued.
The government is also setting up camps across states to help farmers create Farmer IDs.
When is the Next Installment?
The last PM Kisan installment was released in October 2025.
The next installment is expected soon, as payments are generally released every four months.
Farmers are advised to check their e-KYC status and complete it on time to avoid delays.
