The price of CNG has increased in several cities, including Delhi, as of June 22. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), responsible for CNG distribution in Delhi NCR, has raised the prices. The new rates took effect from 6 am.
Previously, CNG was priced at ₹ 74.09 per kg in Delhi, but it has now gone up by ₹ 1 to ₹ 75.09 per kg. Similarly, the price of CNG in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad has also increased by ₹ 1.
In these cities, the cost of CNG was ₹ 78.70 per kg, but it is now ₹ 79.70 per kg. Rewari has seen a similar increase, with prices rising from ₹ 78.70 per kg to ₹ 79.70 per kg.
There has been no change in the price of CNG in Gurugram, which remains at ₹ 80.12 per kg, nor in Karnal and Kaithal, where prices have also stayed the same.
CNG Price Increase in Other Cities
In Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli, the price of CNG has risen from ₹ 79.08 per kg to ₹ 80.08 per kg.
Ajmer, Pali, and Rajsamand have also seen an increase, with prices moving from ₹ 81.94 per kg to ₹ 82.94 per kg.
Previous Price Reduction in March
Earlier in March, Indraprastha Gas Limited had reduced the price of CNG by ₹ 2.50 per kg in Delhi-NCR.
This reduction applied not only to Delhi but also to Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Rewari, Karnal, and Kaithal.
