Citroen Cars Become Expensive by up to ₹45,000

At the start of the new year, car buyers have received another shock. After Volkswagen, Toyota, and Honda, Citroen India has also increased the prices of its cars in January 2026.

The company has raised the prices of the Citroen C3, Basalt, and Aircross by ₹20,000 to ₹45,000. Below are the updated prices and details of the increase.

Citroen C3: Updated Prices and Variants

The Citroen C3 has become costlier than before. After the price hike, its ex-showroom price now ranges from ₹4.95 lakh to ₹9.45 lakh. Earlier, it was priced between ₹4.80 lakh and ₹9.05 lakh.

Price Increase Details

The Live MT, Feel MT, and Feel (O) MT variants have become costlier by up to ₹15,000.

The Live (O) MT variant price remains unchanged.

Top variants have seen a price increase of up to ₹40,000.

Shine Turbo MT: ₹8.74 lakh

Shine Turbo AT: ₹9.45 lakh

Citroen Basalt: Prices Increased Across All Variants

All variants of the Citroen Basalt have become more expensive by ₹20,000.

Citroen Aircross: Highest Price Hike

The Citroen Aircross has seen the biggest price increase among Citroen cars.

Plus 5S MT: ₹9.97 lakh

Plus 7S Turbo MT: ₹11.57 lakh

Dual-tone variants: ₹20,000 extra

The prices of the Max 5S Turbo MT and AT variants remain unchanged because they were recently launched.

Reason Behind the Price Increase

According to Citroen, the prices have been increased due to rising production costs and higher input costs.
