Adobe has taken a big step to bring creative tools into the AI era.

Its three popular applications—Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat—are now available directly within ChatGPT.

This means ChatGPT’s 800 million weekly users can now edit images, design graphics, and manage documents without leaving the chat interface.

Creative Tools Made Simple Through Chat

The idea behind this integration is to combine Adobe’s advanced creative technology with ChatGPT’s conversational interface.

Users can now perform tasks by typing natural language commands.

For example:

“Adobe Photoshop, help me blur the background of this image”

“Adobe Express, create a birthday card for me”

“Adobe Acrobat, merge these PDF files”

These commands allow both experienced designers and everyday users to access powerful tools without needing prior software knowledge.

Adobe Express lets users choose templates, customize designs, animate elements, and create visual content.

Adobe Acrobat supports PDF editing tasks such as extracting text or tables, merging files, compressing documents, and redacting sensitive information.

Why This Integration Matters

Adobe is building on its recent AI innovations, including AI Assistants for Photoshop and Express, and the Acrobat Studio workspace.

Embedding these tools directly into ChatGPT lets users work where they already spend time, removing the need to switch between multiple apps.

According to David Wadhwani, President of Digital Media at Adobe, the goal is to “make creativity accessible for everyone,” enabling simple word commands to edit photos, design materials, and transform documents.

Availability and Cost

Available globally on ChatGPT’s desktop, web, and iOS platforms.

Adobe Express is available on Android, with Photoshop and Acrobat support coming soon.

Free to use for basic functionality, while users can continue advanced projects in Adobe’s full native apps.

This integration is a major step in democratizing creative tools, making professional-quality editing and design accessible to everyone.
