Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new and affordable prepaid plan priced at Rs 997 for its customers.
This plan offers 320GB of data, effectively costing only Rs 3.11 per GB.
Customers will receive 2GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day.
Additionally, the plan includes a free pre-loaded caller tune (PRBT) and Lokdhun service for two months.

Features of BSNL Rs 997 Plan
The standout feature of this plan is its long validity of 160 days, making it one of the few prepaid plans in the market offering such extended coverage.
It’s particularly beneficial for customers looking for long-term data and calling services.
If recharged twice, the plan provides a total validity of 320 days, nearly a full year, for less than Rs 2000.
Upcoming 4G and 5G Services
BSNL is set to roll out 4G services across India within the next 18 to 24 months, allowing customers to maximize the benefits of affordable plans like this.
The company also plans to introduce additional services, including gaming benefits and free OTT (over-the-top) subscriptions.
Following the 4G rollout, BSNL aims to launch 5G services by 2024.
To support this expansion, BSNL has awarded a major contract to Skipper for the supply and installation of 4G mobile towers.
Moreover, 2,343 mobile towers will be upgraded to 4G, funded by the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF).
With these upcoming advancements, customers can enjoy both 4G and 5G services at economical rates through BSNL’s Rs 997 plan.
