Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new affordable recharge plan for its millions of users.
This prepaid plan is specially designed for people whose BSNL numbers have been inactive or disabled for a long time. With this low-cost plan, users can easily reactivate their old BSNL SIM cards.
BSNL UP East shared details of this plan through its official social media handle. The plan mainly targets users who keep a secondary SIM and want to keep their number active at a low cost.
₹449 Plan: Validity and Benefits
This BSNL prepaid plan costs ₹449 and comes with a validity of 90 days. That means users can keep their number active for about ₹5 per day.

Unlimited voice calling across India
Free national roaming
100 SMS per day
Total 5GB data for the entire validity (no daily limit)
BSNL Expanding Network and Preparing for 5G
BSNL has recently installed millions of 4G and 5G mobile towers across the country to improve its network coverage and service quality.
The government has also promised to provide crores of rupees to BSNL in the latest budget to strengthen the telecom company’s infrastructure.
The company has added millions of new users and now has more than 90 million active subscribers. BSNL is also preparing to launch 5G services in major cities such as Delhi and Mumbai.
Its current 4G network is already 5G-ready, which means users may soon be able to access 5G services.
