Positioned between the i4 (Rs 72.5 lakh) and i7 (Rs 2.03 crore – Rs 2.5 crore), the BMW i5 fills the void,

With the addition of the i5, BMW India now boasts a diverse lineup of five electric vehicles, including the iX1, iX xDrive50, i4, and i7, catering to a wide range of preferences and requirements.
Bookings for the i5 commenced on April 4th, marking the beginning of an electrifying journey for BMW enthusiasts.

Equipped with an 83.9kWh (usable 81.2kWh) battery pack, the BMW i5 delivers an impressive range of 516 kilometers (WLTP),
ensuring seamless journeys with minimal charging stops.
Boasting dual electric motors generating 601hp power and 795Nm torque, the i5 accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.8 seconds,
setting new standards for electric performance.
Charging Solutions
Complementing its performance prowess, BMW offers a free 11kW wall charger with the i5, while also providing the option to purchase a 22kW AC charger separately.
Supporting DC fast charging of 205kW, the i5 offers rapid charging capabilities, replenishing the battery from 10 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime.
Futuristic Interior and Technology
Inside, the BMW i5 boasts a futuristic cabin, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, running on BMW’s latest iDrive 8.5 OS.
