Bihar Bandh Called on September 4

The women’s wing of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has announced a five-hour Bihar Bandh on September 4. The bandh will run from 7 am to 12 noon on Thursday.

This protest has been called against the use of abusive language directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late mother during a speech made from the RJD and Congress platform in Darbhanga, as part of the Voter Rights Yatra.

BJP Bihar President Dilip Jaiswal strongly condemned the remarks, saying it was not only an insult to PM Modi’s mother but to every mother in the country.

He added that while the bandh will be held, care will be taken to ensure that the public faces minimum inconvenience. Emergency services will remain unaffected.

NDA Leaders React Strongly

Dilip Jaiswal: Called the remarks an insult to Bihar and emphasized that mothers are regarded as deities whose insult cannot be tolerated.

He appealed to the public to participate in the bandh and unite against the RJD and Congress.

JDU State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha: Said that the comments made during the Mahagathbandhan Yatra were against democratic traditions

and the respect owed to mothers. He warned that Bihar will not forgive those who insult mothers and sisters.

HAM State President Anil Kumar: Compared the language used by RJD and Congress to the “Jungle Raj” era and confirmed that the NDA Mahila Morcha will protest on September 4.

What Will Remain Open and Closed

According to BJP leaders, the bandh will be led by the BJP Mahila Morcha and will be peaceful.

Closed: General activities and businesses may be affected during bandh hours.
