Lucknow: There is good news for outsourced employees in Uttar Pradesh.
The state government has decided to form the ‘Uttar Pradesh Outsource Service Corporation’ for them.
After this corporation is set up, employees will not only get a respectable honorarium and better working conditions but will also be eligible for pension and other major benefits after retirement.
Currently, more than 4 lakh outsourced employees are working in the state, and their honorarium will also increase under the new system.
Along with this, their contracts will be renewed automatically after completion.
Pension and Honorarium Benefits
Outsourced employees will get pension after retirement, provided they have completed at least 10 years of service.
The pension amount will range from ₹1,000 to ₹7,500.
The honorarium of existing employees will also see a rise.
Additional Benefits for Employees
Accident Insurance: If an employee dies in an accident after completing at least one year of service, their family will receive financial assistance of ₹2.5 lakh to ₹7 lakh.
Free Medical Facilities: Employees and their family members will get free treatment in ESIC hospitals, health centres,
and private multi-speciality hospitals listed by ESIC. This includes surgeries and advanced diagnostic services.

Amit Ghosh, Principal Secretary of the Secretariat Administration Department, confirmed that after the formation of this corporation, employees’ honorarium will increase,
and pension will be provided through EPF once 10 years of service are completed.
