Upcoming Electric Cars to Watch
Tata Sierra EV
The Tata Sierra EV is expected to launch between April and June. This electric version will be positioned between the Curvv EV and the Tata Harrier EV.
It is likely to be offered with both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive options. The SUV may come with 55 kWh
and 65 kWh battery packs, offering a range similar to the Harrier EV. Expected features include vehicle-to-vehicle charging and Level 2 ADAS.
Mahindra BE.07
The Mahindra BE.07 was recently spotted testing in India for the first time. It will be the second model in Mahindra’s BE series and is expected to launch in 2027.
This SUV will be around 4.6 meters long and will be built on the Inglo electric platform. It may come with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options.
The final production version could have a different name. It is expected to compete with models like the Tata Harrier EV and the VinFast VF7.
Kia Siros EV
Kia India is working on an electric version of the Siros, which has been spotted multiple times during testing on Indian roads.
This EV will be based on the Hyundai Inster-inspired K1 platform and will use a front-wheel drive setup. According to reports, it could become Kia’s most affordable electric car in India and may be priced lower than the Carens Clavis EV.

2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift
The Tata Tiago EV, which is one of the most affordable electric cars in India, is set to get an update.
The 2026 facelift version is expected to feature a more modern design, new features, and a bigger battery. It has already been spotted testing on Indian roads with camouflage, and the company may launch it in the market later this year.
