Air travelers from Bhopal and Noida are set to get a major convenience boost soon.

Direct flights between Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport and Noida’s upcoming Jewar Airport will begin from July 1.

The new route is expected to save both time and travel hassle for passengers who regularly travel between Madhya Pradesh and the Delhi-NCR region.

Another big relief is expected in ticket prices. According to reports, fares for the Bhopal-Noida route may remain between ₹4,000 and ₹5,000, making the journey affordable for many travelers.

Jewar Airport to Become Operational Soon

Noida’s Jewar Airport is expected to start operations from June 15. After that, airlines will begin launching flights on different routes.

IndiGo has already secured a slot for the Bhopal-Jewar route and is expected to begin operations from July 1.

The new airport is being seen as a major step toward improving connectivity in North and Central India.

Ticket Prices May Be Lower Than Expected

Earlier, many people believed that flights from Jewar Airport could be more expensive compared to Delhi Airport. However, recent developments have changed expectations.

The Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) has fixed the User Development Fee (UDF) for domestic passengers at just ₹490.

Because of this, airlines have started reducing fares on several routes.

For example, IndiGo reportedly reduced ticket prices on the Noida-Bengaluru route from around ₹8,000 to nearly ₹6,500.

This has created hopes that passengers flying between Bhopal and Noida may also get cheaper fares.

Jewar Airport to Reduce Delhi Travel Pressure

Jewar Airport is expected to become a strong alternative to Delhi Airport in the coming years.

People from Western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, and Central India will benefit from easier travel options.

A large number of residents from Bhopal currently living in Noida and nearby areas are expected to benefit the most.

Instead of traveling to Delhi Airport, passengers will now get direct connectivity from Noida to Bhopal.

More Flights Likely in the Future

Once Jewar Airport becomes fully operational, airlines may expand services to many more cities across India.

Experts believe that lower taxes on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) are also helping make Jewar Airport a cost-effective option for airlines.

With lower operating costs and rising passenger demand, the airport is expected to play an important role in the future of air travel in India.
