Delhi and Rajkot residents will soon have a new alternative to app-based taxi services like Ola, Uber, and Rapido.

Called Bharat Taxi, this platform is designed as a driver-owned cooperative, giving cab drivers a fairer way to earn and operate.

Government sources report that 56,000 drivers have already registered on Bharat Taxi.

Testing in Delhi is complete, and trials in Rajkot are expected to launch on February 1.

The service will gradually expand to over 20 cities across India.

A Driver-Friendly Cooperative Platform

Unlike traditional taxi apps, Bharat Taxi works on a cooperative model, where drivers are members rather than just service providers.

This structure promotes collective ownership, transparency, and fair decision-making.

Drivers share in the earnings and benefits, which builds trust and encourages better service for passengers.

Better Earnings and Payment System

The payment system is designed to reward drivers fairly.

They can receive up to 80% of the fare directly, supported by a monthly credit system.

One of the standout features is zero commission for drivers, meaning they keep their full earnings.

This reduces financial stress and motivates drivers to provide reliable and high-quality service.

All Types of Cab Services

Bharat Taxi will offer a wide range of services to suit different needs.

Users can book city rides, airport transfers, or outstation trips.

The platform supports multiple vehicle options, making it suitable for individuals, families, and business travelers alike.

Instant Booking and Easy Access

Passengers can book cabs instantly through the app, available on both Android and iOS.

The simple, time-saving process ensures quick confirmations, which is especially helpful during emergencies or last-minute travel.

A Strong Alternative to Ola and Uber

Bharat Taxi is emerging as a people-friendly alternative to existing ride-hailing apps.

With its cooperative model, zero commission for drivers, and reliable service, it focuses on fairness and sustainability, benefiting both drivers and passengers.
