Bank Holidays: Banks to Close for 13 Days in July 2024

As July approaches, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced that banks will be closed for a total of 13 days. This includes 6 days due to Sundays, the second Saturday, and the fourth Saturday.

The remaining 7 days are holidays for various festivals. For instance, banks will be closed on account of Guru Hargobind Ji Jayanti and Muharram.

However, on these holidays, banking services such as ATMs, cash deposits, online banking, and mobile banking will still be available. Note that these holidays can vary by state.

In Shillong, banks will be closed on July 3 due to Beh Diengklam. Other holidays include:
