Bajaj Teases the Arrival of the Mighty Pulsar NS400: Launch Date Set for May 3rd

Bajaj Auto has set the stage for a grand unveiling, teasing the arrival of the much-anticipated Bajaj Pulsar NS400.

Scheduled for its debut on May 3rd, 2024, enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the launch of what promises to be the most formidable Pulsar model yet.

Sneak Peek at Design:

In a tantalizing teaser video released by Bajaj, glimpses of the bike’s striking alloy wheels have been revealed, reminiscent of the recently launched Pulsar N250.

Speculations suggest a departure from the conventional rear exhaust unit in favor of an underbelly exhaust, akin to the setup seen in the NS160 and NS200 models.

Additionally, expect a beefier rear tire, complemented by a single-sided mount rear tire hugger.

Power and Performance:

The heart of the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is rumored to house a robust 373.3cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, akin to its Dominar 400 counterpart.

Boasting 40PS of power and 35Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox, this marks the largest engine ever fitted into a Pulsar model.

Top-end variants may feature a slip and assist clutch, with whispers of a possible exclusive inclusion of a quickshifter.

Hardware and Features:

Anticipate a stellar performance with USD fork at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear, ensuring superior handling and stability.

Safety features are expected to be top-notch, with disc brakes on both wheels and standard ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).

The NS400 is also rumored to sport a fully digital instrument cluster, alongside a state-of-the-art LED lighting system equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation capabilities.

Price and Competitors:

With expectations soaring, industry insiders predict the price of the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 to hover around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).

This puts it squarely in competition with heavyweight contenders such as the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.

Beyond the Horizon: A Glimpse into the Future

In a move that underscores Bajaj Auto’s commitment to innovation, whispers of a new CNG-powered bike have begun to circulate.

Set to potentially debut in the first quarter of FY 2025, this eco-friendly offering is rumored to boast a 110-125cc engine, with the CNG cylinder ingeniously tucked beneath a long, flat single-piece seat.
