The electric scooter market in India is growing fast, and Bajaj Auto has added a new option to its lineup.

The company has launched the Bajaj Chetak C25, a new electric scooter under its popular Chetak brand.

It is priced at ₹91,399 (ex-showroom) and comes with noticeable upgrades in design, features, and riding range.

With this launch, Bajaj aims to offer a practical and stylish electric scooter for daily city use.

Familiar Design with Fresh Updates

The Bajaj Chetak C25 carries forward the brand’s well-known neo-retro design.

Its overall shape remains similar to earlier Chetak models, giving it a clean and premium look.

The front apron is simple with smooth curves, and it features a horseshoe-shaped LED headlamp.

New graphics on the side panels and a redesigned rear taillight give the scooter a slightly refreshed appearance.

Strong Metallic Body and Color Options

The Chetak C25 stands out as the only electric scooter in India with a fully metallic body.

This not only adds strength but also gives it a solid, premium feel.

It offers a 25-liter boot space and a 650mm long, full-length seat, making it comfortable for daily commuting.

Bajaj is offering the scooter in six color options: Racing Red, Misty Yellow, Ocean Teal, Active Black, Opalescent Silver, and Classic White.

Smart Features for Everyday Convenience

The new Chetak C25 comes with a color LCD display and smartphone connectivity.

Riders can access call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and music controls directly on the screen.

It also gets hill hold assist, which helps the scooter climb slopes of up to 19 percent, even with two riders on board.

Battery, Range and Charging Details

The scooter is powered by a 2.5 kWh battery placed under the floorboard and paired with a 2.2 kW electric motor.

Bajaj claims a riding range of up to 113 km on a single charge, with a top speed of 55 km/h.

Charging from 0 to 80 percent takes about 2 hours and 25 minutes.

With the 750W off-board charger, the battery can be fully charged in less than 4 hours.

For ride comfort, the Chetak C25 gets telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.

The hub-mounted motor ensures smooth and quiet performance, making it well-suited for daily city travel.
