Aprilia has launched its updated SR 125 scooter in the Indian market, priced at ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). This launch follows the recent release of the Aprilia SR 175.
The new SR 125 now comes with many smart features that were previously only seen in the brand’s flagship models.
New Features: TFT Display and Sporty Design
The biggest update in the SR 125 is the addition of a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, a feature previously available in Aprilia’s sport bikes like the RS 457 and Tuono 457.
The scooter now comes in four stylish color options:
Black-Red
White-Red
Red-Black
Silver
Both wheels are 14-inch with 120-section tires, giving the scooter a sportier and more aggressive look.
Engine and Performance
The SR 125 continues to use the 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, but with slight performance improvements. It now produces 10.6 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque.
The engine is also updated to meet the OBD-2B emission norms, making it more eco-friendly and compliant with the latest regulations.
Competition in the Market
The new Aprilia SR 125 will compete with other popular and feature-rich scooters in India, such as the TVS Ntorq 125
and the Hero Xoom 125. With its improved features and sporty design, it’s a solid option for buyers looking for both performance and style.
