Italian two-wheeler giant Aprilia has launched its latest scooter, the SR-GP Replica 175, in India.
This special edition is based on the SR 175 but comes with a MotoGP-inspired design and premium styling.
The scooter is priced at ₹1.22 lakh (ex-showroom), which is about ₹3,000 higher than the standard model.
Its biggest attraction is the racing-bike look and feel.
Sporty Design and Features
The SR-GP Replica stands out with its matte black body, decorated with red and purple graphics.
Aprilia branding and sponsor logos on the front apron and under-seat panel give it the look of a genuine MotoGP machine.
A red stripe on the front wheel adds to its sporty appeal, making it resemble a racing bike at first glance.
In terms of features, the scooter comes with:
5.5-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity
All-LED lighting
USB charging port
These additions make it a modern and premium scooter.
Safety, Comfort, and Power
Aprilia has also focused on rider safety and comfort. The scooter has:
14-inch alloy wheels
Telescopic front forks and rear monoshock suspension
220mm front disc brake, rear drum brake, and single-channel ABS
For performance, the SR-GP Replica uses the same engine as the SR 175:
174.7cc single-cylinder engine
Power: 13.08 bhp
Torque: 14.14 Nm
Transmission: CVT automatic gearbox
This ensures smooth riding and reliable performance.
Competition in the Market
The Aprilia SR-GP Replica 175 will compete with scooters like the Hero Zoom 160 and the Suzuki Burgman.
Hero Zoom 160:
