Apple has officially announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held online from June 9 to 13, 2025.
Alongside the online event, there will be a special in-person gathering at Apple Park on June 9, where developers and students can celebrate the event together.
The event will be free for all developers and will showcase the latest advancements in Apple software.
Highlights of the Event
Support for Developers:
Apple is committed to providing developers with access to experts and resources about new tools, frameworks, and features.Apple’s Susan Prescott, Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed excitement about sharing tools and technologies to empower developers and help them innovate further.
Exploring Software and Technology:
Developers and students will get an exclusive look at the newest Apple software and technology during the keynote session.They will also have opportunities to engage with Apple engineers and designers through video sessions and online labs.
Live Streaming:
WWDC 2025 will be available for live streaming via Apple’s official YouTube channel, the developer app, and the Apple website, allowing global participation in the event.Swift Student Challenge:
Apple continues to support the next generation of developers through the Swift Student Challenge, encouraging students to innovate in the fields of coding and design. Winners of this challenge will receive special recognition.
Special Opportunity for Winners
This year’s applicants for the Swift Student Challenge will be notified about their status on March 27.
The 50 winners of the challenge will be invited to a special three-day experience at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
