Apple Unveils ₹1700/Month Device Protection in the UK

Apple has introduced a new protection service called AppleCare One, aiming to make it easier and more affordable to cover multiple devices.

Starting tomorrow, users in the US can sign up for this plan through their iPhone, iPad, Mac, or by visiting an Apple Store.

What is AppleCare One?

AppleCare One is a combined protection plan that allows users to cover up to three Apple devices—like iPhones, iPads, or Apple Watches—for $19.99 per month.

If you want to cover more than three devices, each extra one will cost $5.99 per month.

This single subscription includes:

  • Unlimited accidental damage repairs

  • Battery service

  • Theft and loss protection

Bob Borchers, Apple’s VP of Worldwide Product Marketing, said, “AppleCare One builds on the trust of AppleCare+ and makes it easier than ever to protect the Apple products you rely on.”

Easy and Flexible Coverage

One of the best parts of AppleCare One is how flexible it is:

  • You can add older devices that are up to four years old and still in good condition.

  • When you trade in a device, your plan will automatically switch to the new one.

  • You can add or remove devices anytime—there’s no yearly contract or long-term commitment.

This is a big improvement compared to the current AppleCare+ system, which only allows coverage within 60 days of buying a new device.

Save More with Bundled Plans

Apple says this plan can help customers save up to $11 each month compared to buying AppleCare+ separately for three devices.

For families or users with many Apple products, this plan offers better value and easier management.

Final Thoughts

AppleCare One shows that Apple is listening to its users who want more affordable and complete protection—especially now that people rely on multiple Apple devices every day.

As device repairs and replacements get more expensive, a monthly plan like this becomes more useful and attractive. This could be the start of more bundled service plans from Apple in the future.
